A person blindfolded with a tongue is sat at a table, waiting for supper.  The dish is empty just as the one opposite to her. She moves her mouth trying to say something but does not produce not any sound. She quitely “spits” some threads black, that will later compose the words ‘Can you hear me?’ . The table companion, the mute speaker,  deaf and blind perhaps has disappeared down a hole in the chair. The individual is deprived from the possibility of speaking. The attempts to reach the word succeed by means of writing. The communication is denied to both interlocutors and the onlooker alone is allowed to know and welcome the words otherwise not shared.

IT

Una persona bendata da una lingua aspetta, seduta al tavolo, di assaporare la cena, il piatto è vuoto, come quello apparecchiato di fronte a lei. Apre e chiude la bocca provando a dire qualcosa ma non emette nessun suono. Sputa dei fili neri che compongono parole. Il commensale, l’interlocutore muto, sordo e cieco è forse scomparso nel buco della sedia. L’individuo è privato dalla possibilità di parlare. I tentativi di raggiungere la parola avvengono tramite la scrittura. La comunicazione è negata ai due interlocutori e solo lo spettatore può conoscere e accogliere le parole  altrimenti incondivise.
